The 3 days tour from Marrakech to Fes is one of the most popular Marrakech desert tours that link between the two best Moroccan attractions, namely Fes and Marrakech.

Your journey starts in Marrakech in the morning. Then, you head with your private driver towards Kasbah Ait Benhaddou. You cross the High Atlas Mountains admiring the beautiful scenery on the curvy roads and Berber villages blending with the mountains.

Day 1 – Day Trip from Marrakech to Ouarzazate.

The Morocco Travel driver will pick you up at 08:00 am from your Riad in Marrakech city. Then you start your 3 days Marrakech Desert Tour to Fez. The first destination is the Dades Gorges. On the road, you will be amazed by the view of Tizi-n-Tichka pass, a sneaky road wrapped the high Atlas Mountains. In addition, bring a camera to shoot the far-reaching views across the mountains, and the traditional Berber villages established at the foot of the mountains.

Afterward, your Marrakech Desert Tour will continue to visit the UNESCO World Heritage site, Kasbah Ait Benhaddou and have lunch at one of the local restaurants. After lunch, you will drive to Ouarzazate to visit the Atlas Studios and Taourirt Kasbah. Finally, you will drive to Dades gorges through Skoura and rose valley. You will spend your first night in a traditional kasbah in Dades Gorges.

Day 2 – Day trip from Ouarzazate to Merzouga Desert

After having breakfast, You drive from Dades gorges to Erg Chebbi Sahara desert at Merzouga. You will see, on the road, the Berber villages which are scattered along the way. You will cross Todra Gorges, Tenhir, and Tinjdad before you reach Erfoud. Once you get there, you get the feeling of being in the Sahara desert. However, when you get to Merzouga, the sight of golden sand dunes will impress you. The camel ride journey is waiting for you. You ride your camels for one hour to fit deep in Merzouga dunes. You watch the majestic sunset before you reach your Merzouga desert camp.

When you reach the tents, you will be greeted by the nomads with a cup of tea. You can relax or take a shower in your tent before dinner is served. After dinner, the fire will be lit and a festive ambiance takes over with musical plays by the staff and cameleers under the starry night of the desert! Having a night in the camp is one of the best things to do in Morocco.

Day 3 – Day trip from Merzouga to Fez

In the third day of your Marrakech desert tour to Fez, you wake up early to watch the sunrise. You will have a traditional breakfast in the tent. After that, you ride camels crossing Erg Chebbi sand dunes coming back to Merzouga. After one hour, you met the Morocco Travel driver with your luggage. The excursion to Fez begins and the driver will take you through high Atlas Mountains. On the way, you drive through Rissani, Erfoud, Errachidia, and Midelt. You stop in the best places for lunch and most importantly to take pictures of wild monkeys on the Cedar forests of Azrou. Overnight in Fez in your Hotel or Riad.
