4 Days – From Marrakech to Merzouga

Day 1 – Desert trip from Marrakech to Ait Ben Haddou and Dades Gorge

On the first day of Marrakech desert tours 4 days, we wake up early and we drive towards Ait Ben Haddou. We cross the High Atlas Mountains via the dramatic twists and turns of Tizi n’Tichka pass. On the way, we will enjoy the far-reaching views of traditional Berber villages scattered along the road. We reach Ait Ben Haddou. After having lunch, we will head to Dades Gorge via Ouarzazate, palm grove of Skoura and Valley of Roses. Overnight in a traditional Riad.

Day 2 – From Dades Gorge to Todra Gorge and Merzouga

On the second day of our tour, we will visit the Sahara desert of Merzouga. After breakfast, we drive through the road of 1000 kasbahs with colorful Berber villages of the Dades valley. We get to Tineghir with its marvelous palm grove.

We continue our way to Todra gorge, where we ride along the canyons of about 300 m high, a preferred place of mountain climbers. Afterward, we will head to Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga Sahara desert.

On the way, we will have lunch. However, once we arrive at Erg Chebbi dunes, we will enjoy a camel ride. We cross the Sahara desert with the camel guide and we watch the sunset as well. We get to our camps after one-hour trekking. Here the beautiful Morocco adventure begins.

Indeed, you spend a lively night in the bivouac in the heart of the desert.

Day 3 – Trip From Merzouga to Ouarzazate

On the third day of our Marrakech desert tour, we wake up early and climb the sand dunes to watch the marvelous sunrise. After that, we will have breakfast in our camp before we trek camels again to take us back to the village of Merzouga where we will meet our driver.

Next, we drive to Ouarzazate via Rissani where we will stop to have a look at its traditional souk which is considered to be the largest in the south. Then, we continue our tour to Ouarzazate crossing the beautiful Draa valley with its million palm trees. Overnight in Ouarzazate at you Riad.

Day 4 – Day trip from to Ouarzazate to Marrakech city

On the last day of our Marrakech desert tours 4 days, we will travel to Ait Ben Haddou village. However, before that, we will pay a visit to Atlas Studio which is the one of the biggest cinema Studios in the world.

After a guided visit, we leave to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Morocco. The Kasbah served as a background for several Hollywood movies, recently Game of Thrones.

Finally, we will continue our trip to Marrakech along the High Atlas Mountains. We stop to visit the Kasbah el Glaoui which was a very important commercial site in Morocco.

Later, in the evening, our driver will drop you off in Marrakech and this will be the end of our Marrakech desert tour.
