4 Days – Tour from Fes to Marrakech

Day 1: Fes – Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga – Erg Chebbi

In the first day of our 4 days tour from Fes to Marrakech, you wake up early at 8:00 a.m. You leave Fez towards Midelt via the Mountains and the cedar forests of the Middle Atlas. Before you arrive to Midelt, you stop several times to see the beautiful places along the way. You stop in Ifran; a beautiful clean city in Morocco. Then you drive to Azrou where to take pictures of the barbarian monkey. When you arrive to Midelt, you will have lunch.

In the afternoon, you will leave to Erg Chebbi via Erfoud. When you cross Erfoud, you will start your journey in the Morocco Desert. In the end, you arrive at your hotel in the foothills of Erg Chebbi Sahara dunes. After the dinner is served, you get time to enjoy your sweety night.

Day 2: Merzouga – Erg Chebbi Dunes – tour around Erg Chebbi desert) ( Camel ride & Night in a desert Camp)

After breakfast in your hotel, we travel to Khamlia, a village populated by black people brought from the grand Sahara during to slavery era. The people there are nice and kind. you will enjoy their music and dance following the rhythm of the Gnawa music. You continue through an off-track road to have a tour of the sand dunes. Then, you stop to have a cup of tea with nomads living in tents. What makes this tour amazing is that you discover a whole new dimension in life. Your travel to Morocco will uncover a lot of things.

In this 4 days tour from Fes to Marrakech, you will discover a lot of secrets which Moroccan desert hides. Indeed, you will have a chance to eat a Berber pizza for lunch. After a while, you go back to your hotel before you join the camel guide in a desert tour by camels. You ride camels to take you into the heart of the desert where you camp. Along the way, you watch the beautiful sunset.

After one hour, you arrive to your lux camp where you spend the night. Desert camping is amazing. It allows you to discover one chapter of Arabian nights.

Day 3: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Ouarzazate

In the fourth day of this desert tour, you wake up early to see the sunrise. The sunrise in the Sahar is different from any other sunrise in the world. It is beautiful and spectacular. The colors of the dunes meet the play of shadows and give a majestic sight that cannot be explained by words.

After the sunrise, you will have a traditional breakfast. Then, you ride camels again to take you back to your hotels. You will have a shower and you drive after towards Ouarzazate. You stop in Erfoud; a city famous for its fossilized marbles. There you will visit the workshop production of marble fossils. After this break, you travel to the Todra Gorges which is an ideal place for walking and exploring on your own. After lunch, you drive through the town of Roses, Kelaa Mgouna. You continue your travel through the Road of a Thousand-Kasbahs passing the Skoura palm grove until you arrive to Ouarzazate; a place named “Hollywood of Morocco.” Overnight at your hotel/riad.

Day 4: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

In the last day of our Desert tour, you travel to Ait Ben Haddou. The village of Ait Ben Haddou is famous worldwide for its amazing Kasbah named Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou. It is a ‘fortified place’, situated along the former caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakech. Its place at the hill along the Ouarzazate River makes it as one of the best tourist attractions in Morocco. Almost all tourists who visit Morocco travel to see this place. It was used as a background for many Hollywood movies and recently used in Game of Thrones.

In addition, the Kasbah has been selected by UNESCO as a World Heritage site. After having lunch, you travel to Marrakech via the high Atlas Mountains. Overnight at your hotel in Marrakech city.
