DAY 1: Imperial cities tour from Casablanca to Rabat.

Discover Magic Tours driver will meet you at the airport and take you on a short drive around the Hassan II mosque. After that, depends on the time of arrival, you will explore the main sights in Casablanca before you head to Rabat.

Rabat is an imperial city which is rich in monuments and museums. It is also the capital of Morocco. You will stay in a traditional Riad or hotel before you start another exciting journey.

DAY 2: Rabat, Meknes, and Roman Ruins at Volubilis

In the second day of our Morocco itinerary 8 days, you will explore Rabat. You will visit the Mausoleum of Mohammad V and Kasbah des Oudaias. Generally, you will see the best of Rabat before you head to Meknes, which is another imperial city of Morocco. You will explore there Bab Mansour Gate and local medina. In addition, you will see Lahdim square which is a small version of jemaa el fna.

After that, you visit the nearby Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and a sprawling complex worth wandering. Volubilis is was once one of the important thriving Roman cities. Finally, you accomplish your tour to Fez and the Morocco Travel driver will drop you at your accommodation. Your accommodation is a traditional Riad that reflects the architecture of old cities.

DAY 3: Fez, exploring one of the best Morocco cities

Fez is a complex city that you can’t explore by yourself; consequently, Morocco Travel makes at your disposition a professional guide. He will guide you in the heart of the old medina which is the oldest surviving city in the world. Fes is where magic and charm meet. You will see artisans still making products using technics of the 12th century. Our guide will take you in its narrow streets to see the most amazing places. he will how you al Quaraouiyine Mosque. Although the Mosque is not open to non-Muslims, it is possible to view part of the interior from the entrance. The mosque is composed of two part: the mosque and the university. The university is the oldest university in the world. In addition, you will see the Ibn Danan Synagogue, or the Jewish Quarter. However, when you’re in the Mellah area, you can visit the Jewish cemetery. Worth saying that Fez once had one of the largest Jewish populations in Morocco and were part of the original founders of the city. After 1492 and their expulsion from Spain many again chose to settle in Morocco.

DAY 4: Fez – Merzouga. Camel ride in Erg Chebbi Dunes and a night in a lux camp

In the fourth day of your Morocco itinerary 8 days from Casablanca, you will leave Fez to Merzouga. You make depart from fez at 8:00 a.m and you travel to the first city wich is Ifrane. You stop there to take pictures and to see this beautiful city. It is nicknamed “Switzerland of Morocco” because it is so clean and cold. Then, you move to the cedar forest of Azrou where you will experience the barbarian life. You will watch the barbarian monkey jumping on trees and you can even feed them.

Finally, you travel to Midelt where you will have lunch before you drive south towards Erg Chebbi dunes. On the way, you will be amazed by the panoramic views of the Middle Atlas mountains. You cross Tizi Ntalghamt pass and along the magnificent Ziz Gorges carved through volcanic rock. you’ll be amazed how the scenery changes to reveal hints of the desert as you approach the Errachidia city.

Your journey continues through Ziz valley to Erfoud, Rissani and Merzouga. There you find your camel guide waiting for you and you travel to Morocco will take another dimension. You will experience camel ride where you ride camels that take you to the heart of the Sahara desert. On the way, you will witness a magic view of the sunset while the shadows of the sun meet the golden dunes of Merzouga. After one hour of camel ride, you reach your lux camp where you spend your night. Merzouga desert camping is one of the best activities in the Sahara desert. You will spend a night under the sky and you will enjoy Berber dancing and singing.

DAY 5: Merzouga desert- Todra Todra gorge- Dades Valley

After a lively night, your guide will wake you up early to see the desert sunrise. Then, you will have a Berber breakfast in your lux camp before you leave the dunes in a camel ride. The camels will take you back to Merzouga and you start another traveling journey. On the way back, you will appreciate the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi sand dunes – changing with the light as the day progresses.

You’ll leave for Rissani, Tinghir and Todra gorge which is the highest gorge in Morocco. You will stop there for lunch and exploring the area. After that, you drive to Dades Valley and you will be impressed by the majestic sand castles and the amazing rock formations known as “monkey toes”. Overnight accommodation will be in a fancy traditional guesthouse overlooking the Dades Valley with dinner and breakfast.

DAY 6 : Guided Tour in Marrakech City.

In this day, you will enjoy Marrakech with our local guide. Marrakech city is as charming as Fez and offers the best museums, galleries, and gardens. It is called The “red city,” so named for the red ochre pigment in the walls, is a lively place to finish the week. You will see the snake charmers in Jemaa el Fna Square, the magnificent Saadian Tombs, and Bahia Palace, and in the Ville Nouvelle, the Majorelle Garden. This botanical garden and villa was the passion project of the French artist Jacques Majorelle, and it was later purchased and restored by Yves Saint-Laurent and Pierre Bergé. Today, the villa is home to the Islamic Art Museum of Marrakech, the Berber Museum, and the Musee Yves Saint Laurent.

Indeed, Marrakech is a city where the present and the past meet. It will charm you.

DAY 8 : Flying Home.

In this day, depends on your flight details, the Morocco Travel driver will be waiting for you. If your travel is in the morning from Marrakech or from another city, he will transport you.
