10 days tour from Casablanca invites you to discover the best of Morocco.  The tour includes imperial cities of Morocco, the Sahara desert, the Atlas mountains, and many interesting locations. You will ride camels in Merzouga, camp in a lux camp in the heart desert, and you will hang out in the most traditional places with our guides, especially in Fez, Marrakech, and Ait Ben Haddou.

This 10 days tour from Casablanca offers you a great balance of culture, history, and adventure—and makes the most of your time, as it starts in Casablanca and ends in Marrakech. (That said, the itinerary is easily adaptable and adjusted according to client need.)

Day 1 – Welcome to Casablanca

Upon your arrival, our driver will meet you at the airport and drives you to see some of the amazing places in the city before he drops you off at your hotel.

You will see the United States Square and one of the top landmarks in Morocco, Hassan II Mosque.

The mosque perched beside the sea and featuring the tallest minaret in the world (690 feet), it’s one of the only mosques in the country that allows non-Muslims to enter.

Day 2 – Casablanca – Rabat & the blue city Chefchaouen

On the second day of your Grand Morocco tour, you will explore Rabat and Chefchaouen.

You leave Casablanca after breakfast and you head over Rabat. You start your visit by seeing the Roman and Islamic ruins, the 20th-century Andalusian Gardens, and Hassan Tower, a 12th-century minaret.

Then, you leave towards Chefchaouen, You will spend almost 4 hours driving, but you will be impressed by the majestic view along the way. You arrive to Chefchaouen in the evening and you spend your night in a nice hotel.

Day 3 – Chefchaouen city tour

Chefchaouen is the one place you shouldn’t skip when you travel to Morocco. It a mountain village painted in 100 shades of blue. The city is located in the Rif Mountains and every corner has its own kind of blue. Indeed, this Moroccan city is unique in its genre.

The next day, after breakfast, you can hang out in the boldly-hued medina, which dates from the 15th century, and stop for a mint tea on Plaza Outa el-Hammam. As the sun goes down, walk up the path to the abandoned Spanish Mosque (a 20-30 minute stroll) to take in views of the city and the mountains.

Finally, after a full day of discovery, you can rest in your hotel to prepare for the next adventure.

Day 4: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

Getting from Chefchaouen to Fes is about 4-hour driving along a beautiful route. You will see the countryside of Morocco, which is great to see besides the big cities. However, before getting to Fes, you stop in Meknes to see Volubilis and some interesting places.

Volubilis is a great landmark in Morocco. It was founded by the Berber people in the 3rd century BC. After the fall of Carthage, the city became part of Mauretania. However, in 25 BC, King Juba II was placed on the throne and began building his royal capital at Volubilis. Despite his Berber ancestry, Juba was married to the daughter of Mark Antony and Cleopatra, and his tastes were distinctly Roman. The city’s public buildings (including a forum, a basilica, and a triumphal arch) reflect the architectural styles of Roman cities across Europe.

Days 5: Fes – Exploring the medieval Medina of Fez

Fez is the cultural city of Morocco. It is the oldest surviving city in the world and holds the oldest and the first university in the world. It is the Quranic university called al-Qarawiyyin. Founded in 859 AD, al-Qarawiyyin still receives students up today. It is rich in terms of history and monuments.

After breakfast, the driver will meet you with our local guide to explore the city. You will discover both medina quarters, Fez el Bali and Fes el Jdid. You will walk in the narrow alleys of Talâa Kebira and through the old souks (markets). Finally, you will visit the Chouara Tannery and its many dye-filled stone pots, where the men at work using centuries-old techniques.

Day 6: Fez – Ifran – Ziz Valley – Merzouga

Your Grand Morocco tour will take you today to another exotic place, the Merzouga desert.

Merzouga is a town on the edge of the Sahara Desert, a town of fantasies and exoticism, the land of camels and Arab nights.

You leave Fez with your driver at 08:00 and you reach Ifran and then the Cedar Forest of Azrou. Then, you stop to see wild monkeys and take pictures of the wildlife. Next, you continue to Midelt where you will have lunch.

When you get to Erfoud, known for fossil mining, you can stop to meet local artisans before continuing onto Erg Chebbi. Erg Chebbi is an extensive complex of sand dunes that shift and travel depending on the changing wind.

Later, you reach Merzouga where you ride camels through the dunes of Erg Chebbi. On the way, you will watch the most beautiful sunset in the world where the color of the sun mixes with the color of sands. After an hour of trekking, you get to your camp in the heart of the desert.

Indeed, it’s where you will spend your night under the sky dancing and singing with local Berbers.

Day 7 – Merzouga – Todra Georges – Boumaln Dades

On the 7th day of your tour, you will be woken up early to see the sunrise. After that, you will take your breakfast before you start another trekking journey on the back of a camel.

You continue your 10 days tour journey heading to Boumaln Dades. You will visit a lot of sights on your way to Boumalne Dades including Todra Georges.

By the evening, you end your journey in a traditional hotel. You may meet some locals there to chat whith while drinking the meant tea.

Day 8: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

On the 8th day of the tour, you will visit Atlas Studio, Ait Ben Haddou, and one of the highest points in the Atlas mountains.

The first point to stop by is Ouarzazate. You will explore Atlas Studio which is considered to be the biggest cinema studio in the World. It globes almost 60 hectares and is divided into 3 studios. Most of the historical movies have been shot their including Game of Thrones, Star Wars, , Gladiator, Cleopatra, and many more.

You will visit the studio with our guide and then you drive to Ait Ben Haddou.

Ait Ben Haddou is a UNESCO World Heritage site that dates from the 11th century. The village is composed of so many Kasbahs that served in various Hollywood movies.

After lunch, you leave Ait Ben Haddou to Marrakech via the twists and turns of Tizi N’tichka. The views from up there are spectacular.

By the end of the day, you will arrive in Marrakech, Probably ready to dip in a pool, or visiting the Jammaa El Fna Square.

Day 9: Marrakech guided tour

Marrakech is a great city to end your Casablanca tour in Morocco.

After breakfast, you meet our local guide who will take you to see the exotic city. You will explore the best places like Koutoubia minaret, Majorelle Garden, and Saadian tombs.

Next, you will have lunch in some local restaurants before you continue your tour. As the sun goes down, you’ll want to be near the main square of Jemaa el-Fna as it comes alive with musicians, performers, snake charmers, and food vendors.

Bringing a good camera is a must. At night, you will see the magic and things that you are not used to, especially if you are from Europe or USA.

Day 10: End of 10 days tour from Casablanca

your 10 days tour from Casablanca ends here. You will have your last delicious Moroccan breakfast before flying home.
